Passionate about extraordinary people and their stories.

Works for various investigative, current affairs and medical TV programs including BBC Panorama and Channel 4 in the UK, the French-German cultural channel ARTE and the German public broadcasters ARD and ZDF.

Her science short film THE GOOD HEART ATTACK won the Video for Web Award at the Vedere La Scienza Festival in Milan 2009.

COLOURS OF BLOOD is Uli Hesse’s first documentary.

Former occupations: Construction worker, studio musician, hardcore guitarist.

Survives puberty as jazz guitarist. Then studio musician, composer, producer. Discovers his love to the Atari computer and its music interfaces.

Founds tonstudio1, first a recording studio for punk, then for radio plays and film music. Additionally he works for the German public broadcaster ARD as sound designer, mixer and music consultant.

Loves Moondog and Techno.
